‘Photography is an art of observation. It has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.’
Elliott Erwitt - world famous dog photographer
Creating something new
I am Suzi Darsa - The Highgate Dog Photographer. I am a passionate lover of both photography and dogs, and it is this passion that is translated in the portraits I create.
My vision of contemporary dog portraiture is one that evokes emotion, depicts beauty and embraces a modern aesthetic. The portraits I create result in striking images which have a lasting impact.
My background of working at The Tate Galleries, The British Journal of Photography and a leading digital image library has shaped my desire to create a contemporary aesthetic in dog photography which breaks the ‘traditional rules’ of what dog portraiture should look like.
I am currently studying for a Masters in Photography at Middlesex University and my personal photographic practise is developing all the time. I also work with families to create imagery that captures beautiful moments that can be treasured - more information can be found by visiting www.suzidarsaphotography.com
